Our first child, Kendal Eliason Merrill was born May 9, 1954. It happened to be on Mother's Day. All of our family was at the Logan hospital to greet him. He was a pretty special baby and was the first grandchild on both sides of the family. His father was a pretty proud daddy. Kendal went through the Logan City schools and graduated from Logan High School. After high school he worked for a year then he went on a mission to Japan. When he got home he started working at Casper's and that's when he met Cathy Duncan. They were married in 1978 in the Ogden Temple. Kendal and Cathy had 6 children, Danya Hansen(Christian), Lynsey Rolle(Troy), Braden Merrill(Savannah), Landen Merrill(died at birth), Shay Merrill, Kaylee Merrill. Kendal currently lives in Logan, Utah and is self-employed with a distributorship.
