Mardee was born November 24, 1961. She shares her birthdate with her grandpa Casper. She graduated from Logan High School in 1980. She then went to Utah State and graduated with a BS in Education in 1985. After graduation she moved to Salt Lake City and taught 2nd grade for ten years. In 2002 she accepted employment at IHC, she is currently a Research Coordinator where she works with patients in Critical Care Medicine. She owns a home on Shepard Lane in Farmington, Utah.
