We met at the Logan Temple early July 9, we had to be there early to do Jolene's initiatory work. We went through the 9 a.m. session. All of our families were in attendance. The wedding ceremony took place in the gold room following the session. We were married by George Nelson. After the wedding we traveled to Hyrum for the wedding dinner which was served by Dewey's Cafe in the upstairs of the Elite Hall. After the lunch I left and went back to the ice-cream plant to make the Frappe for the reception. Jolene served a lavender raspberry frappe and a sheet cake with lavender and yellow roses on each piece. The reception was held in Hyrum 3rd Ward Multipurpose room in the basement. We had many guest come from Logan and Hyrum, the line was busy for two and a half hours. After the reception we left for our honeymoon. We didn't arrive in Salt Lake until 1 a.m. We should have stayed in Logan because we were so tired.
