High School Years

August 10th, 1946 was the last day we had to milk the stinky old cows in Richmond. As we moved from Richmond to our new home in Logan at 238 E 6th North and turned the farm over to the church. We also moved to the new ice-cream factory on that day. We attended the Logan 9th ward. It was fun making new friends in the ward. By now we had our drive's license so now we could drive on occasion, legally. High school was a lot of fun. Our junior year we did the show Oklahoma. We didn't do many extracurricular activities after school because we were small in stature as well as our father was in the stake presidency and needed to be free to do church work and us boys could run the business. We delivered the city routes twice weekly to the stores in Logan and throughout the valley. I graduated from high school in May 1949.
